Picking up, carrying and putting down

Each slime has one cargo slot.

Hold [Shift] to highlight food, nectar and movable stones that can be picked up. A left click lifts a load or puts it down in a suitable place. [C] looks for a free spot immediately beside the slime. If its cargo slot is occupied, the current load must first be used or set down.

Suitable ground

Parcels need a free, reachable tile of ground. Water, entrances, fixed obstacles and occupied spots are unsuitable. Small grass decorations do not change this rule. Below ground, stores remain visible parcels in reachable chambers.

Four green parcels lay side by side in the chamber. I could no longer tell which had once been a water lily.

Stones

Movable stones share the cargo slot with parcels. Their weight uses energy even while the carrier rests; moving costs more. An exhausted carrier slows down but does not become unable to move.
